Joel’s Solution

To solve 3.7 ÷ 0.2, Joel placed base-10 blocks representing 3.7 on the mat below.

Then he separated them into groups of 0.2.

He found 18 groups of 0.2 with 0.1 left over. Joel said the answer is 18.1.
